About Senta Rose

I have over 35 years of experience in the mental health field. My passion lies in assisting individuals in using holistic methods to recover from past trauma, such as inner parts work, mindfulness techniques, environmental controls, and emotional regulation. With over three decades of experience in the mental health field, I have worked with diverse groups of people, including those within the criminal justice system for 10 years at a high-security prison. However, I have retired from that position in 2022 and am now focused on utilizing holistic approaches to heal trauma. I especially enjoy incorporating Spirituality in therapeutic work.

I have techniques that are effective for depression, anxiety, anger issues and PTSD. I have training and experience with inner parts work, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, and reality therapy/choice theory. I focus a lot on reflective feedback and delving deep into emotions and defense mechanisms.

I have a unique method of working with clients whose work makes it hard to schedule the same day and time each week.

I do not write letters for clients to be off work more than two weeks. I do not complete FMLA paperwork. In these cases, repeatedly, clients have lost insurance and do not pay for sessions and now, I can't afford to take clients in these situations on any longer. If a client wishes to self pay, they are required to pay for every session before they can schedule the next session.

Court Ordered Mental Health Assessments (Or similar Assessments for Employers).

I have over 25 years experience writing over a thousand mental health assessments and can easily work with clients who are court ordered to have a mental health assessment or who needs a similar assessment for their employer.

These assessments are NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE if they are done outside of regular psychotherapy. I will do these reports for my clients currently in psychotherapy for six months or more and regularly attending at no extra fee. However, if you are just wanting the mental health assessment, there are fees which must be paid. The assessment takes two or three sessions of meetings and a couple weeks for me to complete after the second session. The fee is my current intake fee and the normal session fee for the follow up sessions. I don't charge for writing the report, just for the time in session. The fee must be paid in full when the bill is received. I don't do payment plans for these assessments.
