About Jackie Bobinski

Welcome to my page! I have often been excitedly told by prior clients that I am "different" from previous therapists that they have worked with & that they feel comfortable with me - and trust me - quickly...I also believe that I am different from the "traditional" or "stereotypical" therapist in many ways! This could be because I am less formal or "buttoned up", creating a relaxed environment and my sense of humility puts others at ease in an environment that can often feel very vulnerable and intimidating. Your feelings of comfort and emotional safety are my #1 priority as we begin to build our therapeutic relationship.

My strongest areas of expertise include trauma (simple & complex), depression, and anxiety. However, these are not the only needs that I address. I am very passionate about working with LGTBQIA+ individuals & have experience working with clients who identify as transgender, gay, bisexual, pansexual, nonbinary, and gender fluid.

My approach is integrative as I tailor treatment to your individual needs by using techniques from a variety of different therapeutic models. I most often use techniques from CBT, CPT, & REBT but also draw from body-focused/somatic approaches, ACT, mindfulness, IFS & the flash technique. I am always working from a trauma-informed & culturally sensitive lens.
