To promote change, I utilize various evidence-based treatment approaches; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength Based Perspective.
My valuable experience and expertise are with Mood Disorders (Depression/Bipolar Disorder), Anxiety/Panic Disorders, PTSD, Stress Management, Family/Relationship Dynamics, Life Skills/Coaching, Infant Mental Health Therapy which focuses on the parent-infant/child attachment relationship, and working with women challenged by the effects of Perinatal Mood Disorders that include Postpartum Depression.
I have practiced in the field of Social Work since 1995 working with culturally diverse populations of adults, adolescents, children, infants, couples, and families in jail, residential, home-based, group, and outpatient settings.
I am deeply committed to meeting people where they are and helping them overcome any obstacles they may face. At the same time, I encourage self-compassion as a means of establishing emotional and mental well-being, which is crucial for healthy living.
