Bill Matthews is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Michigan-qualified counseling supervisor.
He is a University of Notre Dame graduate with a Masters in Counseling from Eastern Michigan. Bill has post-master certifications in Organizational Leadership (Univ of Michigan), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), mPEAK Mindfulness for Peak Performance, and mPEAK facilitator training (Center for Integrative Health UC San Diego), the Psychology of High Performance (Center for Continuing Educ., Stanford Univ. Medical School), Sport Social Work (Univ. of Michigan), and Trauma-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Medical College of South Carolina). He is also certified as an EMDR practitioner, with advanced EMDR training in working with youth and adolescents, athletes, creatives, and other high performers.
Bill’s current practice is exclusively online, working with individuals aged twelve and up. His practice is primarily focused on ADHD assessment and treatment, anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma work, and mental health/performance issues in student-athletes and other high performers.
