About Suzanna Neubecker

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan. I have been practicing for the past seventeen years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from University of Michigan, Dearborn, in Psychology and my Master’s Degree from Wayne State University in Counseling.

I work with children and adolescents. Many of my clients come in when they are feeling stress, facing bullying challenges, self-confidence and anxiety. I am particularly passionate about serving adolescents who are experiencing various types of anxiety.

My style is Person-Centered. When a client first comes in, I aim to create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment by showing genuineness, positive regard and empathic understanding. I am dedicated in creating an environment which allows the client to lead the conversation and do not attempt to steer the client in any way. My multicultural background and competency allow me to see different perspectives and enables me to meet people where they are. I've always been there to support those around me in their time of need and consider myself to be a very caring individual.
