About Julie Love-Richardson
Therapy is most impactful when it is grounded in the openness and trust of a supportive alliance. I offer a warm, down-to-earth, and empathic presence. My primary approach to treatment is trauma-informed, relational, and person-centered. I also have specialized training in dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I primarily work with individual adults seeking to transform the effects of trauma and/or address grief, work-related stress, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. Most importantly, I focus on providing support that meets the unique needs of each client with genuine respect for their values, choices, and lifestyles.
In my spare time, I enjoy music, gardening, hiking with my dogs, and spending time with family. A lifelong learner, I invest in opportunities to enhance my therapeutic skills so that I may better serve my clients. A deeper understanding of mental health and wellness helps us create a better road map toward being the best, most authentic version of ourselves.
