About Jennifer Ishaq

Are you feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges? You’re not alone, and there is hope. Mental health is a vital aspect of our lives, affecting everything from personal relationships to work and leisure. I believe that psychological flexibility—our ability to adapt and bounce back from challenges—greatly influences our well-being. Through therapy, we can develop this flexibility together.

In our first session, we’ll explore your motivations for seeking therapy and collaboratively set achievable goals that resonate with your unique needs. My approach emphasizes empowerment, encouraging you to advocate for yourself and communicate your personal challenges. To support your growth, we’ll introduce manageable "challenges" to work on between sessions, fostering skill development in a practical way. I also incorporate quarterly check-ins to celebrate your progress and adjust our goals as needed.

I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and women’s issues, while also focusing on building healthy relationships and self-esteem. My therapeutic style is Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Integrative, allowing me to draw from various approaches—such as mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and self-compassion—to best meet your needs.

I am passionate about partnering with you on your journey to improved mental health. If you're ready to take the next step, I look forward to connecting with you!
