About Jade Dodde
I am a social worker licensed in the State of Michigan and have been practicing for seven years. Clients I work with often have a range of concerns such as; anxiety, depression, adjusting to life changes, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance Abuse Disorder, family-related concerns, individuals with self-harming behaviors or suicidal ideations, and significant trauma. While I have worked with kids in the past, I find my passion is working with adults.
My counseling style is down-to-earth and interactive. I believe that individuals are experts in their lives and enjoy helping individuals obtain these skills.
My practice combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, solution-focused, and teaching healthy coping skills. I have received additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR ). When working together, I empower individuals to take the lead in their treatment by setting up therapeutic goals that are time-bound, achievable, and measurable.
It takes courage to make a change and leap out of your comfort zone. It takes strength and resilience to implement these changes.
I look forward to helping you make that leap and empowering you to be the happiest and healthiest version of yourself!
