About Cara Hudson
I believe in having a safe place to tell one’s story. The counseling journey begins with providing an environment in which you feel comfortable, supported, accepted, and understood. This then paves the path to work on complex issues such as anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, life transitions, etc. I hope to help you work towards growth, personal fulfillment, and gain a better understanding of yourself and others.
I’ve worked with diverse populations in the mental health field for over ten years and received my master’s degree in counseling at Oakland University. Much of my experience has been working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I also have in depth experience working with individuals who have traumatic brain injuries.
I am a fan of traveling, reading, food, podcasts, shows, and an avid plant lover. I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Sherlock. Let’s work together to help you learn more about yourself and the world around you.
