About Aysha Stephenson
You don’t have to do this alone.
Life’s complexities—especially during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood—can feel overwhelming. For so many women, life can feel like a constant balancing act between showing up for everyone else and trying to stay grounded in your own healing, identity, and peace. Whether you’re navigating the perinatal and early parenthood journey, healing from past experiences, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself in the midst of life’s demands, you deserve care, support, and space to breathe.
With 8 years of experience supporting families with young children in both clinical and educational settings, and more than a year providing home-based infant mental health therapy, I specialize in working with women and parents during the most tender and transformative stages of life. I hold an endorsement from the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health and obtained advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.
My passion lies in supporting women, especially Black women and mothers, as they navigate the emotional, mental, and relational shifts that come with identity, healing, and motherhood. I understand the weight of constantly showing up for everyone else while trying to stay connected to yourself. You don’t have to do it all alone.
My approach is an attachment-based approach, integrating CBT and other modalities from a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens. Together, we’ll create a space for healing, reflection, and growth, where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered in your journey.
